Return Policy

Effective and Last Updated: July 24, 2026

Customer satisfaction is a top priority at Superior Seating LLC. This Return Policy explains the cancellation, return, refund, and merchandise-claim requirements that apply to our products.

Superior Seating products are generally manufactured, finished, upholstered, configured, modified, or ordered to the customer’s specifications and are therefore considered custom orders unless expressly identified as non-custom or quick-ship products.

All sales of custom, made-to-order, modified, special-order, and customer-approved products are final. These products cannot be cancelled, changed, returned, or refunded once production begins unless authorized in writing by Superior Seating LLC. Eligible non-custom, quick-ship products may be considered for cancellation or return only in accordance with this Return Policy.

IMPORTANT: Do not return any product without written authorization from Superior Seating LLC. Unauthorized returns may be refused and will not be processed.

Contents

This page summarizes the applicable return and merchandise-claim requirements. The complete Terms of Use and Commercial Sales Policies, applicable Order Documents, product-specific warranties, and any written return authorization govern the transaction.

1. Custom Product Cancellations

Custom Products include products manufactured, finished, upholstered, configured, cut, modified, or ordered to the customer’s specifications. This includes selections involving upholstery, fabric, vinyl, leather, stain, paint, finish, dimensions, shape, tufting, channeling, booth configuration, logos, customer-supplied materials, or other non-stock features.

Products identified as custom, made to order, modified, special order, customer approved, or non-returnable are considered Custom Products even when based on a standard product model.

A customer may request cancellation before production begins. Once production has begun, Custom Products cannot be cancelled, changed, returned, or refunded unless Superior Seating LLC expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Any approved refund may be reduced by disclosed payment-processing fees and documented, nonrecoverable costs already incurred, except where the cancellation results from a confirmed Superior Seating LLC error or applicable law requires otherwise.

2. Quick-Ship Cancellations

A non-custom, quick-ship item may be cancelled before shipment only if Superior Seating LLC confirms the cancellation in writing.

A 30% restocking fee applies to an approved quick-ship cancellation. Disclosed payment-processing fees may also be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.

If the item has already shipped, the request will be handled under the return requirements below, and the customer remains responsible for freight and carrier charges already incurred.

3. Eligible Returns

Only eligible non-custom, quick-ship products may be considered for return. To request a return, the customer must:

  • Contact Superior Seating LLC within 14 days after delivery;
  • Obtain a written Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) before returning anything;
  • Return the product unused, unassembled, uninstalled, undamaged, and complete;
  • Include all original parts, labels, instructions, hardware, and accessories;
  • Return the product in its original packaging; and
  • Follow all written RMA and return-shipping instructions.

A 30% restocking fee applies to authorized returns of eligible in-stock, non-custom products.

4. Non-Returnable and Final Sale Products

The following products are not eligible for return:

  • Custom, made-to-order, modified, special-order, or customer-approved products;
  • Products marked Final Sale, clearance, “AS IS,” discontinued, sample, prototype, or non-returnable;
  • Product samples and swatches identified as non-returnable;
  • Used, assembled, installed, altered, damaged, incomplete, or improperly packaged products;
  • Products for which a return was not requested within 14 days after delivery; and
  • Any product not authorized in writing for return.

Final Sale and “AS IS” Products

Final Sale products may include discontinued, overstocked, custom-built, clearance, showroom, sample, or imperfect merchandise. These products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

Unless a written product-specific warranty states otherwise, Final Sale products are sold “AS IS” and without warranty to the fullest extent permitted by law. Customers should review all disclosed conditions, specifications, materials, finishes, dimensions, and photographs before purchasing.

5. Return Procedure and Refunds

The RMA will provide the authorized return destination and instructions. Prior written authorization is required before any product is returned to Superior Seating LLC, a manufacturer, supplier, or warehouse.

Unauthorized returns may be refused and will not be processed.

The customer must follow the RMA instructions and package the product properly to prevent damage during return transportation. Original packaging is required unless Superior Seating LLC provides different written instructions.

Approved refunds are processed after the returned product is received and inspected. Refunds may be reduced by applicable:

  • Restocking fees;
  • Disclosed payment-processing fees;
  • Missing-part, damage, or repackaging deductions;
  • Original and return shipping charges;
  • Accessorial, storage, or handling charges; and
  • Other carrier charges already incurred.

These deductions do not apply to the extent the return results from a confirmed Superior Seating LLC error or applicable law requires otherwise.

Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method when available.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

Freight damage, concealed damage, shortages, manufacturing defects, and incorrect shipments are merchandise claims and are not handled as ordinary returns.

Inspection at Delivery

The customer is responsible for inspecting and counting the shipment before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt whenever reasonably possible.

Any visible damage or shortage must be described specifically on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before the driver leaves. A general statement such as “damaged” may not provide enough information to support a carrier claim. Keep a copy of the signed delivery receipt.

If a complete inspection is not possible, note on the delivery receipt that the shipment was not fully inspected and is subject to inspection for concealed damage, where the carrier permits that notation.

Notice Within 48 Hours

Notify Superior Seating LLC in writing within 48 hours after delivery of any freight damage, concealed damage, shortage, incorrect item, or apparent defect.

The notice should include:

  • The order number and affected product;
  • A copy of the delivery receipt or bill of lading;
  • Photographs of all sides of the product;
  • Photographs of the carton, crate, pallet, and other packaging;
  • Photographs of shipping labels and product labels; and
  • A clear description of the issue.

Keep all original packaging, wrapping, pallets, labels, cartons, crates, and packing materials until the claim is resolved.

Do not discard, use, assemble, install, repair, alter, or return affected products unless instructed by Superior Seating LLC.

Concealed Damage

Some freight damage may not be visible until the cartons or crates are opened. Unpack and inspect the products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and within the 48-hour notice period.

If concealed damage is discovered, stop unpacking further, retain the packaging in the condition found, photograph the damage and packaging, and notify Superior Seating LLC immediately.

Claim Review and Resolution

Depending on the facts and available remedies, Superior Seating LLC may coordinate a carrier claim, provide replacement parts, arrange a repair, replace an item, issue a credit, authorize a return, or offer another reasonable resolution.

A call tag or return label may be issued when appropriate. A call tag, pickup, replacement, refund, or other resolution is not guaranteed until the claim has been reviewed and validated. Carrier or manufacturer inspection may also be required.

Failure to document visible damage or shortages at delivery or to provide written notice within 48 hours may result in denial or reduction of the claim to the extent the delay prevents investigation or carrier recovery.
